Modern Test Measurement Software was designed by operators who have many hours examining how in line diesel pumps are really calibrated.
The software can be completely operated by keystrokes alone-no mouse is needed. We do this because in an industrial environment there often is no room for a mouse and mouses tend to distract operators from pump calibration. All the software controls can be tabbed to, yet for frequently used controls, a single keystroke will perform the function.
Each of up to eight ports can be tested by a single key stroke, or all the ports in sequence in auto mode can be displayed and tested. In single mode, you can view the pump port output in real time while simultaneously making adjustments to the pump. The real time pump output can be easily seen from quite a distance to keep the operator from constantly moving back and forth during calibration.
Instead of using a thermal printer to display and record results, measurement results are recorded in the Pump Measurement array field so the operator can keep track of his progress.
To both print the Calibration Report and to store the calibration results in an HTML file that can viewed in any browser, the operator simply presses the keyboard "p" button. The Calibration Report is instantly printed via a Wi-Fi enabled printer stationed nearby. There are no printer prompts for the operator to deal with-just press "p" and the job is done. The Calibration Report is a professional looking document. You have the option of putting your company logo on your calibration reports.
User profiles and pump profiles are also keystroke selectable. Once you have selected your profiles (that will displayed on the Calibration Report), there is no need to change them again during a calibration session. This way, many different operators can measure many different pumps with one coherent, super quick way of printing reports. The Serial/Part pump number is a text edible field on the software front panel.
Operators love this system because they no longer have to cut up strips of thermal paper print reports and staple them to a hand written report. Modern Test Measurement Software takes care of this for them.
